i did it

the spring 2009 semester is officially over. ohman. it was a really good one...i enjoyed my classes, experienced some living situation craziness, and learned a lot about myself (and walked away unscathed). early early tomorrow i'll hop on a plane and make my way up to the northwest. i feel like a vacation is at hand.

we're all back under the same roof. last night i happily handed my temporary "mommy" title back to its rightful owner. i prefer "sister" at this point. bright and early this morning was final #1. 3 more to go and i'll be free! economic geography is next...

multitasking

this has been one crazy week. my parents have been in Whistler, BC Canada since sunday. lately i have developed an even deeper respect for mothers. my plate has been full of schoolwork (my novel of an essay about iceland and a pair of environmental awareness editorials), packing lunches, making sure everybody is on time for school, baseball batting practice, baseball games....mom and dad will be back this sunday and life will return to normal.

4 finals next week! then fun!
