London

I've finally made my way through our vacation pictures! Here are some from our time in London. We saw so much...Trafalgar Square, Westminster, the London Bridge, Big Ben, the Tower of London, Portobello Road, the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Tate Modern, National Gallery and much more.

Endings and beginnings

These, my dears, are my last pictures from Germany. I'm officially back in the US of A! It's been wonderful so far. I've already checked off a few things from my "to do when I get home" list. I spent a lovely day out with family...we ate at Joe's then did some shopping at Sprout's and Central Market. Plus I wore a cute dress with some new summery sandals.
Okay, these first pictures were taken in Bad Wimpfen. It's a cute little town and has the most magical Christmas market in December. View of the Rhine Valley.These next ones were taken at the Babstadt Schloss.And finally, here are a few from the climb up to the Heidelberg castle. I still owe you some England and Ireland pictures (I didn't forget!).

Flowerchild

Busy busy! I've been spending my week checking the last few things off my German bucket list. It's been wonderful. I've spent time in Heidelberg, Sinsheim, Mannheim and Bad Wimpfen. Tomorrow (my last full day in Germany!) I'm headed to Heidelberg to hike up to the castle. It's something I've wanted to do for quite awhile now. I'm hoping the weather is nice and I'll be able to get some pictures of the Neckar River and the beautiful Heidelberg houses that line it. These first few pictures were taken in Sinsheim.The rest were taken in Mannheim. Jake and I visited their Luisenpark. What a beautiful place! They had everything...boat rides, a petting zoo, Chinese tea garden, an aquarium, castle playgrounds, a butterfly room (my favorite!), penguins, and of course flowers. Think of me tomorrow as I wrap things up (adventures, packing, sleep?). See you soon, America!

Lovely Sunday

I'm back in Germany after an incredible family vacation to London and Ireland! We used a different camera so I'll post pictures a little later. It was gorgeous. Can you believe it's only a week until I'm home? I can't. One of the many things I'm excited about is getting reacquainted with my closet. I'm so tired of the clothes I brought and can't wait to dress like a girl again! I'd love to wear one of these dressed from modcloth.

Hello! It's been awhile, I know. I'm still here! I have some really exciting news...I leave early Monday morning to meet my family in London! I absolutely cannot wait. To top everything off, it's almost time for me to go home for good! My time in Germany has been one of the most interesting, stretching, and growing experiences of my life.
