a time to heal

My time in Raleigh has been quite an adventure. Each day brings new joys and challenges. Through it all, God has been so faithful to provide for me... a home, friends, work. Being here surrounded by nature has also been incredible. I believe we were created to breathe fresh air, watch the seasons change, feel the wind in our hair. North Carolina is such a beautiful state and I'm happy to be here. Recently I've been reminded again that things don't always go according to plan. I can't help but think of the Mumford & Sons lyrics, "And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears. And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears. Get over your hill and see what you find there, with grace in your heart and flowers in your hair." Even though things don't look like I thought they would, I'm confident I'm here for a reason. I look forward to a time of healing.. a time of joy, adventures and love.
