Last week was another busy one. Wednesday I took the boys to the life and science museum in Durham. E loved the hands-on exhibits and looking at all the animals. Then on Saturday my roommate, Anne Marie, and I took a day trip to Washington, D.C. :) It was so much fun! We went because the British embassy was having an open house (AM is moving to Scotland in January). Lots of the embassies were open to visitors and had displays and samples. I loved being surrounded by so many cultures. We had lunch at an Irish pub (chicken pot pie!) then wandered around the Smithsonian.

| Washington National Cathedral... there was a wedding going on so we were able to hear the beautiful organ music! |

We went to an amazing shop called
Trohv and visited
Georgetown Cupcake. I can't wait to go back and spend more time in D.C.
