I'd like to start by saying that I made dinner in the crock pot yesterday. It seems crazy, I know, but somehow I've gone a whole 25 years without ever making a crock pot meal all by my lonesome. My fingers were crossed for 6 hours that we'd have some delicious green beans and pesto chicken. I have to admit that I won't be writing it in my recipe book but I'm looking forward to trying something else!
I also want to share with you some pictures from our trip to Kokusai Dori a few weeks ago. We were down in Naha meeting a family at the airport and did a bit of exploring first. We walked through a market full of the most colorful fresh fish I've ever seen. They also had a meat market (full of pig parts I wish I'd never seen) and stands of fruits and flowers.
Couldn't resist snapping this one for SK
This lady gave us samples of seaweed dipped in soy sauce
Gross, right?
I'll check in again soon! Love you guys.

huggee hellokitty (: I've always loved the little waving cats that they have at restaurants, but kyle says that no one ever wants to sell them.
