Yes, I'm taking a German class. It started yesterday and is going well! I have classmates from Ecuador, Cuba, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Iran, and Syria. My teachers, Monika and Mustafa, are from Poland and Bosnia. It has already made my life extra crazy. I'm so thankful for the very cool opportunity to make friends with people from all over the world, but it makes for a long day. Things with the girls are great. Tira and I have a lot of fun going on adventures and playing all kinds of games. She goes to a mommy and me (or au pair and me) gymnastics class once a week. She loves to run around and jump off of things so it's nice for her to be able to land on soft mats once and awhile! Julika has been busy with school, friends, piano, swimming, and ballet.
Well I'm off to do my homework (so much for graduating college!) and get some rest.
P.S. Here's a view from the family room. The trees are changing colors! And, I couldn't resist sharing a picture of the very embarrassed Thorsten having a Sunday morning tea party with Tira (notice the itty bitty cow chair he's somehow not breaking).
